Yesterday we went to Sikeston, MO to a place called Beggs Family Farm. It was a really cold day but we had fun and there was alot for Luke and Westin to do. It probably would have been even better if it was a little warmer, but we made the best of it. They had pig races, playground stuff in the shapes of animals, big and smaller slide, corn mazes, sand areas, bouncy things, a petting zoo, a pumpkin patch and much more. Luke’s really liked feeding the goats. There would be three or four goats trying to get his food and he kept feeding this one goat. He also liked playing in the sand and sliding down the slides. There was a little ride thing that we strapped him in (the cow thing). All the animals were attached to a four wheeler that took them around where we were standing. It didn’t go very fast, but Luke wasn’t sure of it. He sat in it the whole time and didn’t cry, but by his facial expression, we weren’t too sure what he thought of it. We also rode in a trailer hooked to a big tractor out to a pumpkin patch where we got to pick pumpkins. Luke got pretty excited when we got to the pumpkin patch and kept pointing to all of the pumpkins. He kept pointing to them and saying “ball.” He would pick them up and throw them like they were balls. Needless to say he didn’t pick out his own pumpkin because he kept throwing them down. I don’t think he’ll get the idea better next year. We had a fun day and ended it by eating at Lambert’s.
